my profile
- lite is free for everyone — no card. it includes a guided onboarding, the extended library, a preview of the full course, the community chat room and the free blueprint lite pro tools template. no other perks.
- pro ($34.99/month) unlocks the full 5-hour core course, the full resource library (career development plan, acoustic panel blueprint, pro tools shortcut keys, practice stems, home studio setup guide and the full blueprint pro tools templates), mastery & quizzes, request resources, unlimited community feedback in the chat room and 10% off storewide at a.co label (the only perk).
- artist ($139.99/month) is everything unlocked, including free studio time at our houston facility (one 2-hour block each monday), the referral program and the weekly discord community call.
- grandfathered students (the original lifetime members) are artists for life, on us.
- there is no enrollment fee and no free trial — lite is the free way in. you only enter a card when you upgrade.
- a paid plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. prices are subject to change; we'll email you at least 30 days before any increase applies to your subscription.
- moving from pro to artist charges the prorated difference right away, then the artist price each month. moving from artist to pro credits the unused time to your next invoice.
- yearly plans (pro $349/year, artist $999/year) are billed once for 12 months and are final: no refunds and no mid-year credits. a yearly plan can move up (pro yearly to artist yearly charges the prorated difference) but can't be downgraded or switched back to monthly until the year ends. it renews yearly until you cancel; cancel any time and you keep access through the year you paid for, then your account drops back to free lite. the agreement you tick when you buy is saved with the date, plan and price.
- cancel any time with [ manage subscription ] — no need to contact us. you keep your plan through the end of the period you already paid for, then your account drops back to free lite (it's never deleted, and your progress stays).
- if a payment doesn't go through, your account is suspended (not deleted). update your card and access returns automatically once the payment succeeds.
- all payments are non-refundable, including any partial month.
- pro and artist members get 10% off storewide at a.co label with a personal code. that discount is pro's only perk, and lite has none.
- your code is personal to you. it works only while your paid plan is active and switches off if your plan ends or your account is suspended. purchases made with your code are checked against your account, and a code used by someone else is switched off.
- houston studio access (artist): the studio at 12130 antoine dr, houston is open to artist members every monday, 9am–9pm. reserve one continuous 2-hour block a week, first come first served, at least 48 hours ahead (a monday's slots close at 12:00 am saturday, central time). you clock in and out and take a quick before/after photo of the room. the studio is self-serve, there is no engineer.
- referrals (artist): when a friend you refer pays for their first month of artist, you earn one token: either a free master or a 4-hour studio block at our houston facility (no engineer, no guests). a pro plan doesn't count, but if your friend upgrades to artist later it does. tokens expire 90 days after they unlock your friend pays the full price.
- the community chat room is open to every plan. lite members can share 1 track a month for community feedback; pro and artist members can share unlimited tracks. other members and a.co label grade them with a letter grade and written comments, and you see who graded. the lite count resets on the 1st of each month.
your login is personal to you. sharing course materials, videos, or your credentials results in immediate, permanent revocation with no refund. all access is logged.
chat (pro & artist): messages are automatically filtered, any member can report a message (3 reports hides it for review), and breaking the chat rules can get you muted or removed from the blueprint.
data usage & surveys: we collect and store personal information, such as names and contact details, voluntarily provided by you. this information is used solely to maintain records, reach out with support and educational opportunities (by phone, text, email or social media), and track data to provide insights on artist performance and development. we do not share or sell your information to third parties.

– new accounts now start with a free home studio guide right after the onboarding video (the gear we recommend for a $4,000 setup, with prices; save it as a pdf), then the tour of every step and why it matters
– the tour now walks the real menu: it lights up each step in turn and clicks into learn to show the core course and the extended library, with your first request and your first hello in the chat built in
– new last step for free members: refer a friend. you get a personal code and link, and when a friend joins free with it the blueprint lite pro tools template unlocks for you
– the tour ends with an invitation to say hey in the community chat (you edit the message and send it yourself)
– new accounts answer a few questions about themselves before they get in: what you do and what you're looking to accomplish (15 things the blueprint does), and your recommendation names what pro will teach you for the goals you picked. phone, links and city are asked later and can be skipped
– new accounts get 50% off the first month of pro ($17.50 instead of $34.99) for one full day
– request resources moved up to sit right after learn, then mastery & quizzes, then chat
– the tour's request resources card shows how requests work and asks for your first question (it goes straight to us and can become a video in the extended library)
– request resources has a cleaner, simpler look: pick video, resource or something's broken, write it, send
– your recommendation is shorter: your goals, the offer, and two drop-downs (what you get with lite, what you're missing out on)
– onboarding is simpler: tap to start, the video plays, skip when you want, and the tour walks one idea at a time
EARLIER — V3.0:
– free (lite) members now get a last step, upgrade, that takes you straight to the plans screen
– the plans screen in settings now marks pro as the most popular plan
– the core course and extended library picker is simpler: still side by side, no more dotted boxes
– the blueprint now runs on BlueprintOS. that's the new name of the system you log in to, with the same version number you're used to. nothing changes about how you use it
– frequency training now has a vocals quiz. a real vocal with one boost on it, and you pick the frequency that was lifted. tap original and changed to compare, it loops and switches at the same spot. expert adds cuts as well as boosts
– new quiz: industry vocabulary. 35 studio and business terms from the common studio/industry vocabulary list (masters, publishing, sync, advances, stems, side-chain and more). it always runs in a random order at one standard level, in blue, with its own chime
EARLIER — V2.9.24:
– the login page is now acolabel.com/login. your old link and bookmarks still work
EARLIER — V2.9.23:
– artist is now $139.99/month (it was $97.98). pro stays $34.99/month and the yearly plans are unchanged. lite is still free
EARLIER — V2.9.22:
– lite members get a new step after onboarding: download your free pro tools template, with what you need to run it. once you download it, the step goes away
– the extra resources step says preview extra resources on lite and download resources once you upgrade, with a check after you've downloaded
– chat opens with the chat rules first and a cleaner agree button. once you agree, the room opens and you can type. the rules stay closed when you close them, and there's a loading indicator while chat loads
– new accounts can post in chat as soon as onboarding is done
EARLIER — V2.9.21:
– the blueprint lite pro tools template now lists the software and plugins you need to use it: pro tools studio, waves ultimate (subscription), trackspacer 2.5, fabfilter pro-q 4, slate digital fresh air and valhalla vintageverb
EARLIER — V2.9.20:
– the chapter labels under the course bar are just the roman numerals now, and the line below the bar shows the chapter you're in and the time
– download resources now spells out everything in the library: the music career development plan, acoustic panel blueprint, pro tools shortcut keys, practice stems, home studio setup guide and the full blueprint pro tools template folder
– lite members now get the blueprint lite pro tools template free (arriving soon); the full library unlocks with pro or artist
EARLIER — V2.9.19:
– the extended library now gets a new video every monday, based on what pro + artist subscribers request. the countdown at the top of the library counts down to the next monday
EARLIER — V2.9.18:
– frequency training: every run plays brand-new tones (no two runs the same), and the intro is just one line. on every quiz the results screen is now three quiet words (retake, review answers, back)
EARLIER — V2.9.17:
– my profile is in settings: it asks the questions you haven't answered one at a time (each answer saves as you go), and once everything is filled in it becomes your profile, where you can change your phone number, city, links and password. your name stays as is
– the questions now pop up after you close the onboarding video and look around, never in the middle of it. skip says "i'll fill this out later" the first time and "continue to the blueprint" on later logins
EARLIER — V2.9.16:
– new accounts: step 1 (onboarding) is big and green with an arrow so it's obvious where to start, and a short note lists what unlocks when it ends. once you've watched it, step 1 keeps a small green check and stays open to rewatch any time
EARLIER — V2.9.15:
– new accounts: the login chime now plays when you first get in, and the first thing you see is the onboarding video (everything else unlocks when it ends)
– the profile questions no longer ask for things we already have (like your phone number)
EARLIER — V2.9.14:
– new in mastery & quizzes: frequency training. listen to pure tones and pick the band (easy), the frequency (intermediate) or the exact step (expert). use headphones and start the volume low
– chat feels faster: your message shows up the second you send it, and new messages arrive quicker
EARLIER — V2.9.13:
– the community chat room is now open to everyone, including lite: say hi, talk to other members, and share 1 track a month for community feedback. pro and artist members can share unlimited tracks
EARLIER — V2.9.12:
– the chat rules menu now stays open until you close it
– "submit track for feedback" is now part of the chat: share tracks in the chat room and members and a.co label grade them. you can see who graded your track
– the bottom bar is gone: a small settings dial sits under the steps, and your plan badge, the version and the patch notes now live in settings (patch notes sit just above log out)
EARLIER — V2.9.11:
– more resources is a clean simple list now (the roadmap is gone), and studio sessions, mixing and mastering take you straight into the shop. your discount code opens on a clean white screen with tap-to-copy
EARLIER — V2.9.10:
– logging in now greets you by name, then your steps flow in one after another from the top. logging out switches to its own "logging out..." screen with its own sound
EARLIER — V2.9.9:
– quizzes got a clean new look: pick your difficulty (easy, intermediate or expert), hit start, and the screen clears so it's just you and the quiz. grades are colored now: a is green, b lighter green, c yellow, d orange and f red
– a deep chime plays when you log in, and each quiz difficulty starts with its own sound: easy is light, intermediate is serious, expert hits hard (all muted by your phone's silent switch)
EARLIER — V2.9.8:
– quizzes now have a difficulty toggle at the top: easy (the original questions), intermediate, and expert (the same questions with much harder, more technical answer choices)
– every quiz now reshuffles the question order and the answer choices each time you open it, so you can't memorize letters
EARLIER — V2.9.7:
– a new login screen: clean, white and minimal, just your access key. it works exactly the same
EARLIER — V2.9.6:
– until you fill in your profile (phone, socials, city, what you do), we'll ask again every time you log in
EARLIER — V2.9.5:
– the upgrade panel and the subscription terms now match how the plans really work: studio time is one 2-hour block every monday at our houston facility, and the terms now cover referrals, studio access and chat rules
– "graduate" is now "more resources": open to everyone, with quick links to studio sessions, mixing and mastering, and your 10% member discount
– the 10% discount code pop-up no longer appears when you log in (your code is still under student benefits)
– artist is marked "recommended" in the upgrade panel
EARLIER — V2.9.4:
– plan perks are spelled out accurately: pro's perk is 10% off storewide at a.co label; up to 8 free hours a month in our houston studio and the referral program are artist-only
– the extended library description now says it's built from what pro and artist students request
EARLIER — V2.9.3:
– song grades are color coded: A is green, B light green, C yellow, D orange, F red
– grading now uses percent bands (A 90-100, B 80-89, C 70-79, D 60-69, F under 60) and shows your overall grade live as you pick
EARLIER — V2.9.2:
– one font everywhere: the whole site now uses ibm plex mono
– the login screen is cleaned up too (no more prompt arrows)
EARLIER — V2.9.1:
– cleaner titles: the little prompt arrows are gone from every heading and label
EARLIER — V2.9:
– core course chapters: the bar under the video is split into chapters (introduction, the room, the basics, the template, a note from the author) with the chapter names underneath. tap a chapter to jump straight to it, and it shows where you are
– song feedback in chat: share an unreleased mp3 and other members grade it anonymously on songwriting, mix and performance. you get the average and their comments. grade other people's songs right from the feed
– the quizzes now need every question answered before you can submit
– a cleaner look: the black welcome bar is gone. your name, plan and version now sit in a small grey line at the bottom with the settings wheel next to it, and settings, plans and terms are white. green is only used for money details like prices
EARLIER — V2.8:
– the referral program (earn a free master or 4 hours of studio time when a friend you refer pays) is now part of the artist plan. pro keeps the 10% student discount
– chat: the ask a question board is now a live chat room for pro and artist members. talk to other artists and share your music (spotify, apple music, youtube and other music links work). your plan badge shows next to your name. no bullying and no soliciting — messages are filtered, anyone can report one, and you'll read the short rules the first time you open it
– on phones everything is smaller, lighter and less boxy, and the pop-ups for download resources and the table of contents now fit the screen
EARLIER — V2.7:
– yearly plans: in the plans window, flip to yearly for pro ($349/yr) or artist ($999/yr) — billed once, a big saving over paying monthly. a yearly plan can move up to a higher yearly plan any time
– table of contents now opens as a clean picture, and download resources always shows you what's included (lite just needs a plan to download)
– signing up is faster: name, email, password and you're in, with an optional 'tell us about you' right here in the portal
EARLIER — V2.6:
– plans: the blueprint now has three plans. lite is free for everyone (onboarding + the extended library), pro ($34.99/month) unlocks the whole course plus the 10% student discount, and artist ($97.98/month) is everything, including houston studio access and the weekly discord call
– no more free trial or enrollment fee: join free on lite, upgrade when you're ready. cancel any time and you drop back to lite (your account and progress stay)
– your plan shows as a tag next to your name, and [ upgrade ] / [ view plans & upgrade ] lets you move between plans any time
– the original lifetime students are artists for life
EARLIER — V2.5:
– table of contents: a view table of contents link in the core course box opens the table of contents as a popup, with everything included with the blueprint at the bottom. download resources lists the same items. trial students see them greyed out and can't download.
WHAT'S NEW IN V2.4:
– student benefits: the 10% discount code, access our houston facility and the referral program now live in one step. pick the perk you want from the menu. the discount code moved out of the settings gear.
WHAT'S NEW IN V2.3:
– refer a friend: every student has a personal referral code. when someone you refer enters it at signup and their first artist payment goes through, you earn a reward token — spend it on a free master or 4 free hours of studio time in houston — no engineer, no guests, just you. pick which one in the refer section and you get a code that stays there for up to 90 days there's no limit on how many you can earn, and tokens last 90 days
– access our facility (houston students): reserve one free 2-hour block every monday, 9am–9pm, then clock in and out with a before/after photo of the room. sign the facility usage agreement once — you can re-read it any time afterward
– the extended library credits who asked: videos made from a student's request say "requested by" their name, and new videos go live without waiting on an update
– you can attach a photo to your questions and resource requests
– no more typing a username — your name comes straight from your account
– every booking and reservation time is central time (CT)
– new step: refer a friend sits right before graduate in the menu
– monday facility reservations close 48 hours ahead (12:00 am saturday, central time) — no last-minute booking, and a late cancel keeps the slot closed
EARLIER — V2.2:
– the top bar is just your name and status, with a settings gear on the right: your student discount code, the full subscription terms (pricing, the free trial, billing & cancellation, rejoining, your discount, track feedback and access rules), manage / resume subscription and log out all live there
– changed your mind? if you canceled, the login screen has a "rejoin the blueprint" link, and while a cancellation is pending the button next to your name says "resume subscription"
– track feedback is 3 tracks a month per student — the counter sits right above the upload button and resets on the 1st
– the menu is simpler: just your name, the steps and these notes
– manage subscription — update your card, see your invoices or cancel, right from your account (the button next to your name)
– your status now shows next to your name: free trial, active subscription or lifetime member
– learn is now just two buttons: the core course (the full 5-hour long-form blueprint) and the extended library (the learning after). each one opens on its own page — use "back" at the top of the page to come back
– the extended library grows every month: new videos drop the 1st, and the countdown to the next drop sits at the top of the library itself, next to a "request a video" button that takes you straight to the request page
– new subscribers get a personal 10% student code for mixing, studio time, marketing, songwriting help and more once their subscription is live after the free trial (a prompt pops up the day it unlocks) — it's behind the [ view student discount code ] button next to your name, and it switches off if the subscription ends
– the extended library is for members only: it opens with your free trial or subscription (if you're not logged in it sends you to log in first)
– request resources now takes bug reports too — if something in the blueprint is broken, tell us there
– free trial: everything is open right away except the core course, which stays greyed out (it says in red when it activates) until your subscription goes live after the 3-day trial — then it unlocks by itself, no refresh needed
– want the core course before the trial is over? hit "subscribe now" under it: it ends your trial today, charges your card on file and unlocks the core course right away (you review the terms and confirm your password first)
– if a payment doesn't go through your account is suspended, not deleted — fix it from the login screen and you're back in
– the login page now lives at acolabel.com/blueprintlogin
WHAT'S NEW IN V2.1:
– submit a track for feedback — pick what you want graded on (songwriting/structure, mix quality, recording quality) and upload the file, straight from your account
– get a real letter grade and written feedback back, visible right on your own login
– mastery & quizzes now keeps a full history of every attempt tied to your account — check it anytime with [ my quiz history ]
WHAT'S NEW IN V2:
– a brand new guided onboarding video so you know exactly what you're getting into
– a completely rebuilt interface — the blueprint is now a guided menu instead of one long page
– download resources now walks you through what to do with them, step by step
– learn now includes access to the extended curriculum library — extra videos beyond the blueprint itself
– mastery & quizzes: multiple choice quizzes with instant grading to help track your progress and retention
– request resources: ask us to add specific videos or resources you're looking for
– graduate: once you feel done with the blueprint, get pointed toward your next resource
– weekly community call: opt in to a live Discord call every sunday @ 2pm central

Using The Facility
- Your block starts at its scheduled time — not when you arrive. Get there early so you don't lose time.
- You're 100% liable for yourself and anything damaged during your reserved block.
- This time is for your own use only — no guests.
- You won't enter any room or area outside what you've been given access to.
- You'll leave the room exactly as you found it — clean, gear back in place, nothing left behind.
Cameras & Clock In/Out
You're on camera the entire time you're in the facility.
- Clock in with a photo of the room and booth when you arrive, clock out with another photo when you leave.
- Skipping clock-in or clock-out, or otherwise misusing the space, may cost you access to future facility bookings.
Damage & Smoking
- Causing damage to the space results in your entire Blueprint access — not just the facility — being revoked immediately and permanently. No refund, no warning.
- Smoking inside the room is strictly prohibited. Violating this results in an automatic $15 smoking fee, charged to the card on file on your account.
Your ID & Data
We ask for a government ID so we can verify you're really who your Blueprint account says you are before handing you access to a physical space — it's a security check, not a data grab.
- Your ID photo is stored privately and is only ever viewable by Aco Label admins — never other students, never the public.
- It's used only to confirm your identity and to resolve any incident tied to a reservation, like a damage or smoking violation.
- We do not share or sell your ID or personal information to third parties.
- The full legal name and ID you provide must match your Blueprint student account.
Sign & Verify
Checking the box and typing your full legal name below electronically signs this agreement. Then upload a photo of your government ID to verify your identity.
entry / exit instructions
Getting There
Arrive about 20 minutes early. 12130 Antoine Dr — go in through Door 3, then take a hard left. Your room is the one all the way to the left, in the cut.
While You're There
Stay in your room only. Bathroom's down the hallway on the right. Leave the room door open when you step out, close Door 3 behind you on your way out, and grab everything — nothing left behind.
*the studio is in houston, tx — open to every member, though houston students will get the most out of it. not local? the free master is just as valuable.
